The Magic didn't appear poofed in Game 7. Didn't appear defeated, fewer than 45 hours after blowing a 24-point, third quarter-lead in Game 6. At home. Then losing by 14.
Magic did not look beaten by all this, only done in by their own missteps.
Paolo Banchero, early threes, fine, but bad switching, bad defense, contributed mightily to Detroit's 16-33 mark from deep, bad turnovers. Jalen Suggs settled nothing, Desmond Bane adrift all afternoon. It wasn't lackadaisical or brokenhearted, only incomplete basketball.
