Bulls clear house

Bulls clear house

Monday's news hit in the same breath as North Carolina hiring Michael Malone, leaving us to believe that the Bulls just hired Billy Donovan as general manager. That nudge took notice seconds later when we learned Artūras Karnišovas (jock) and Marc Eversley (corporate) were out as Bulls personnel chiefs. We don't know if Donovan will take over as Bulls el jefe. We do know the Reinsdorf family hasn't sold the team.

We can also tell you not to take off, don't split, don't start pretending you like the Pistons or Blazers or Hornets or some mess. Don't fake being way into the Spurs or Pacers. Forget that.

You see the graham cracker-crusted owners' kids that just won rings in Oklahoma City, Golden State, Denver? The Bulls can win titles with the Reinsdorfs around but they have to hire right, conclude upon a candidate correctly. Nail it.

The attention demands as much, Chicago radio jocks are dropping out of scheduled Bears and baseball bits to rant and rail about a Bulls team they haven't watched in eight-to-ten years. The Reinsdorfs are shamed by the hire of Artūras Karnišovas, who failed to provide ownership with a trail of postseason gate receipts they could count back from, playoff appearances to point at all the way back home.

Do I believe in the beneficial concept of "Reinsdorfs, chagrined?" Think I do!

Some might not be with me and I get it, the Bulls tossed up a lot of bricks this century.

C'mon Tim, laugh at it.

Pretend Jerry's tickling you.
