Bulls choose chess

“We’ve been playing checkers," a Bulls source told the Chicago Sun-Times, "and now it’s time to play chess."

They want applause for this? Why the hell were they playing checkers in 2025?

Didn't Michael Jordan make the Bulls all the money they needed to not have to play checkers? To spring for the little horsies and pawns and queens and kings and whatever the hell a rook is? I don't know what a rook looks like because the rook drafted by the last Bulls GM never played.

The Bulls hired a new GM on Monday and, like the last GM, he'll work out if the Bulls leave him alone. And they will at first, because Bulls ownership isn't big fans of basketball, and also because they'll need time to learn to play chess.

I'm happy the Bulls are done with checkers. They were fucking terrible at checkers.
